God the Father is the first Person of the Trinity, possessing infinite perfection and being. He exhibits holiness, justice, righteousness, grace, patience, and mercy, and is abundant in goodness and truth (Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 Kings 8:23; Isaiah 6:3, 48:12; Jeremiah 10:10; Psalm 136:26; 1 Corinthians 8:4-6; 1 John 4:8,16; 2 Peter 3:15).
God the Father hates sin and will not leave the guilty unpunished (Exodus 34:7; Psalms 5:5-6; Proverbs 6:16-19; Nahum 1:2-3; Romans 1:18-32).
God the Father expressed His love for humanity by sending His Son to save sinners. This act of love is demonstrated in various Scriptures (John 3:16; 4:34; 5:24; Romans 5:6-8; 1 Corinthians 15; 2 Peter 3:9).
