Mankind/Humanity

Adam and Eve were created in the image of God, morally upright and free from moral blemish or defect. However, they disobeyed God and lost their spiritual life because of their sin. Thus, everyone born after Adam inherited a corrupted nature except for Jesus Christ (Genesis 2:7, 3:12-13; Romans 3:10-19, 5:12; 1 Corinthians 15:45, Hebrews 4:15).

Due to the sin of Adam and Eve, we are all born spiritually dead and in need of new life. This new life is bestowed freely upon those who place their faith in Jesus (John 5:24, 11:25, 12:46, 14:6; Ephesians 2:1; 1 John 3:14).

Marriage is a divine institution. Therefore, only God can determine its limits (Genesis 2:22-25; Matthew 19:3-6). According to God’s Word, marriage is a sacred bond between a man and a woman who share a mutually respectful and loving relationship which represents the connection between Christ and the Church on earth (Ephesians 5:25-33). Our teachings do not align with the current government and court definition of marriage; yet we remain steadfast in our conviction to follow God’s teachings rather than those of man (Acts 5:29).
