The focus of AWANA is to teach children God’s Word through scripture memorization, games and lesson times where principles from the Bible are explained with practical applications given.

The AWANA program is an exciting children’s ministry at Faith Bible Fellowship Church in Big Lake, Alaska. Our club meets Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:15 during the school year, and is for children aged 3 through 6th grade. We use the New King James Version for verse memorization. Many of the children who attend AWANA do not attend church on a regular basis and this program has proven to be a tremendous outreach to the local community.

We provide transportation to many of the clubbers who would not be able to attend otherwise.
Approximately 100 children attend our AWANA program each week.
