The focus of AWANA is to teach children God’s Word through scripture memorization, games and lesson times where principles from the Bible are explained with practical applications given.

2026-2027 Awana Club at Faith Bible Fellowship Church in Big Lake, AK is about to get started back up for the school season.
The AWANA leaders & volunteers are so blessed to participate in sharing and teaching your children and so look forward to seeing you & your friends again next year.

The AWANA program is an exciting children’s ministry at Faith Bible Fellowship Church in Big Lake, Alaska. Our club meets Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:15 during the school year, and is for children aged 3 through 6th grade. We use the New King James Version for verse memorization. Many of the children who attend AWANA do not attend church on a regular basis and this program has proven to be a tremendous outreach to the local community.

AWANA Club Groups:
– Puggles- Ages 2-3 (Awana & Youth leaders children only)
– Cubbies- Ages 3-5
– Sparks- Grade K-2
– Truth & Training- Grade 3-6

We may be able to provide transportation to clubbers who would not be able to attend otherwise.

Approximately 80-100 children attend our AWANA program each week.

For more information about our children’s ministries, please contact the church office at 907-892-8545 or by email at info@biglakefaithbible.org.

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.”
