Scott and Elizabeth (Beth) Johnson both grew up on the Northshore of Lake Superior near Duluth, Minnesota with a trout stream running through each of their parents’ properties. Both have spent countless hours in canoes and boats. Beth trusted in Jesus Christ as her Savior in 1978 after a friend invited her to a youth event at church. Scott believed on Jesus Christ as a university student when a classmate shared the gospel with him in 1981. After meeting in church as university students, they were married once Beth graduated from nursing school in 1985. They raised their three children in a country home near Duluth, Minnesota. Their children and 10 grandchildren live in the Midwest.
Both Scott and Beth have actively served the Lord Jesus Christ in the local church in a variety of ministries. They enjoy hospitality with other believers.
Beth is talented in singing and piano. She is a perpetual student. Whenever possible, she ventures outside picking berries and mushrooms, collecting unique rocks, working her flower gardens or just hiking a forest trail.
Scott’s father raised him outdoors with fishing, hunting and adventuring. Scott passionately gardens, shares the gospel and rides his bicycles for exercise. Instead of retiring at 65, Scott accepted a “Teaching Pastor” position at Faith Bible Fellowship by faith!
