Scott Johnson serves as the Teaching Pastor at Faith Bible Fellowship since December 2025. He was raised in a religious home in Duluth, MN, never observing an open Bible until 20 years old when a university student shared the gospel of Jesus Christ.

God in His providence and mercy prepared Scott’s heart to hear the glorious message of grace.  He believed in Jesus as his personal Savior based on John 3:16-18, Ephesians 2:8-9, and 1John 5:11-13 after attending his first Bible study in April 1981. He began attending both Sunday morning services and midweek Bible studies at the Duluth Bible Church.  Since those early Bible studies, Scott has been passionate toward Jesus Christ, the Word of God, and people.

Scott received a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in 1984 to teach high school science from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. He married Elizabeth (Beth) Rauzi in 1985. They have three children and 10 grandchildren.  As the local church steadily grew for three decades, Scott served in every capacity of ministry from Sunday School, evangelism, youth, visitation, deacon, correction ministry, pulpit preaching, music leader, camps, marriage counseling, church planting, international training and elder.  He received a Master of Applied Biblical Studies with emphasis on local church ministry from the Grace Institute of Biblical Studies in 1997.  He served as associate pastor at Duluth Bible Church from 2001-2013.  From 2013 to 2025, he served as director of Alaska Christian Ministry to Seafarers (ACMS) in Seward, Alaska.  ACMS serves seafarers coming to Alaska ports.
