5:30 PM – Sunday Evening Prayer, Worship, Study & Potluck Meal- On SIte only
Join us Sunday evening at 5:30 PM we are going to have a time of prayer for our nation. We will gather in the Fellowship Hall, sing a few hymns and pray for our country. September 27th, 2020 has been designated as a time of repentance and revival. We will end with the Lord’s Supper. This will be followed by a potluck. It will be a great time!
What are services like?
At Faith Bible Fellowship we gather to worship God through singing, pray as a body of believers, and learn more about His Word through the teaching of our pastor in his sermon. Worship music is a mix of hymns and contemporary songs.
After congregational singing time, before the sermon starts, children are invited to attend Children’s Church in our Kindergarten through third grade groups. Nursery service is also provided for the younger children. If you need assistance or directions ask a nearby usher or follow the crowd of children to the check-in station. We are a family church, children are always welcome to stay for the sermon with their parents as well. Many mothers of infants appreciate the Sunday service live streaming in the connecting Fellowship Hall allowing them to be part of worship as they attend to their babies. Changing tables are located in the adjoining bathrooms also in the Fellowship Hall.
After the service, children can be picked up in their classrooms. Please feel free to stay and visit. We’d love to meet you!
Where Is Faith Bible Fellowship?
Is there a dress code?
At Faith Bible Fellowship, our focus is on Christ. There’s no need to dress up and our attire reflects our varied community – from jeans to suits.
What is offertory?
As part of our weekly services, we do take up an offering. If you are a guest, please do not feel any pressure or obligation to give. This is an act of worship and obedience for our regular attendees, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work He is doing in their lives and to give back to help continue the life-changing work of the church.
What is communion?
Communion, often called “The Lord’s Supper,” is a memorial in which Christians identify with the crucifixion of Jesus Christ (see 1 Corinthians 10:16; 11:20). It’s a time for believers to remember the Lord’s broken body and His shed blood for all people (see Luke 22:19–20). Jesus Christ instituted Communion on the eve of His death when He ate the Passover meal with His disciples. Bread and wine were once served for the Lord’s Supper. Today, many churches, including ours, use crackers and grape juice. The bread symbolizes Christ’s body, which was beaten and broken for us as He died for the sins of humanity. The cup of wine symbolizes His blood, which was shed for us as He paid for our sins (see John 10:17–18; Ephesians 1:7; Romans 5:8–9).
We celebrate communion quarterly and invite all believers to join with us.
